There yet rings from Golgotha’s hill His compassionate words, “Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do.” (Luke 23:34.)
Gratitude is an essential part of finding happiness.
Nothing you do makes much of a difference if you do not have charity.You can speak with tongues,understand all mysteries,and possess all knowledge;even if you have the faith to move mountains,without charity it won’t profit you at all.If you are doing anything that is not charitable,it's a WASTE OF TIME. Such as,arguing,video games,recreational activities,etc. It all depends on WHY.I'm still trying.
At the root of this arguing is the age-old problem of pride. “Only by pride cometh contention.”

If your friends begin to argue with you, it is often best to change the subject or leave the conversation. Jesus Christ didn’t argue with the Pharisees; instead, He taught them through love, word, and example.
